Yolla Baptist: Vibrant and Active!

Following on from the success of Yolla Baptist Church’s recent Bushwalking Visuals afternoon, another community event is just around the corner. Around 70–80 people gathered to enjoy stunning bushwalking photography, lively commentary from Graeme and Mark, and an impressive afternoon tea put on by Debbie Jordan and team.

The two-hour afternoon was an opportunity for people to connect, share stories and enjoy one another’s company—and generated such an encouraging response that the church is already planning to make it an annual event.

Mark Lawrie was very happy with this outcome, commenting, “…it was about providing something for the community, making connections, having people come through the door and enjoying fellowship.”

Building on that momentum, Yolla Baptist is now looking forward to welcoming the community back at 2pm on Sunday, 30 August, when the Wynyard Concert Band will present a special afternoon of music.

The Wynyard Concert Band is a much-loved community group, bringing together musicians of different ages and abilities to share their love of music. Their performance will provide another opportunity for Yolla Baptist to open its doors, connect with the wider community and enjoy a great afternoon together.

If you enjoy quality live entertainment and warm country hospitality, this promises to be another wonderful afternoon to share with friends and neighbours.
