The Value of REST
As women, we are not very good at going SLOW, or taking time to be kind to ourselves.
But one thing we learnt with our COVID-19 year is the value of stopping and resting.
So let's not forget that thing we learnt!
This morning, not long after sunrise, I walked to the beach. The Derwent was calm, and the waves ebbed and flowed, gently and rhythmically.
Swoosh-2-3-4
Roll-2-3-4
Crash-2-3-4
It was like a giant heartbeat, and the calm soothed my soul. (I videoed it! It's just below.)
What can you do to soothe your soul today?
Be blessed,
Jenny
