From BWA President Karen Wilson

To connect Baptist women globally because we believe when Baptist women come together in Christ, God creates shalom for all.

Please pray that God will work powerfully through these connecting opportunities and that His shalom will impact lives.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you as your women, ready and willing to be all and do all that you are calling us to be and do. We want to be faithful. We want to be strong. We want you to work through us to shine your love and your light so those around us can know your love, too. Please help us encourage one another along the way.

Give our new leaders all they need for the jobs you have called them to; help them lead well. This is your work, Father. You have shown us over and over that you still have much you want to accomplish through us. We know you see this work as important for your kingdom. Please give us, as leaders, the wisdom to know what you are saying and learn do your work even better. The world needs you. Thank you for the privilege of serving you. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

We praise God for answering prayer and for leading the Search Committee to our newly elected officers: President Karen Wilson and Secretary-Treasurer Sherrie Cherdak. Please pray for them as they adjust to these new roles and ask God to use them mightily during their five-year Baptist World Alliance Women

Please also pray for our new Baptist World Alliance president, Tomas Mackey, as he steps into his new responsibilities.

Finally, please pray for our BWA General Secretary, Elijah Brown to have wisdom and strength as he leads BWA and travels to represent Baptist Christians throughout the world.
