Have the Conversation

If you know of someone (or suspect you know of someone) who struggles with gambling addiction, try having a conversation
  • DO
    • Listen
    • Without blame, tell people how their gambling may be affecting others
    • Focus on positives and fixes and get them to talk about what might be good about gambling less
    • Let them know you are asking because you care - be patient.
  • AVOID
    • Blaming people for causing problems or labelling them as a problem
    • Lecturing and telling people what to do
