I rejoice over you with singing

Welcome to the December 2020 issue of ADVANCE | step by step

This year has zoomed by very differently to the norm. Our pandemic year has warped not just our sense of social space, but also time--both stretching AND compressing. It's a bit disconcerting.
In all that, it's good to remember you are loved no matter what. As today's quotation says: God even rejoices over you with singing!

So, as you "hit December singing", here's what's lined up:

  • Your new Tasmanian Baptist Council members: find out about them
  • NEWS: Your action needed by Dec 3! Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill; Prayer for Garment workers in Bangladesh; Info about a 180th Anniversary coming up; and remembering Trevor Fist, one of our special exports.
  • Mission Director Stephen Baxter, wraps-up 2020, in What's the World Coming To?
  • The November Monthly Byte: Social Justice Task Force

Oh, and let's pray (and sing) for joy to the world!
